Specialist Foster Care for Young People Who Offend (BRICS)

Bail Remand, Intensive Care & Support (BRICS) service, is a fostering service working in partnership with Warwickshire Youth Justice Service (WYJS) to provide children and young people, 10 - 17 years, supervised by WYJS with alternative to custody placements for remand, sentence and rehabilitation into the community from custody. CSE children and young people are aged 8 - 17. The service will support WYJS in assisting those young people with their social inclusion and diversion from criminal activity.

White Rose - Children Looked After Residential Electronic Market Place (EMP)

The initial participating member authorities (Barnsley, York, East Riding, Hull, North East Lincs, North Lincs, Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Calderdale, Kirklees, Doncaster, Sheffield and Rotherham) currently adopt a wide range of purchasing activities in order to secure sufficient residential care and to meet local demand for children looked after (CLA). This project will procure regional residential care arrangements for CLA's where these arrangements are provided by external providers. It is anticipated that the project will develop a framework of providers to ensure capacity to manage fluctuations in demand and capacity across the participating member authorities.

ETCS Simulators

This project is a collaboration between Norther Trains Limited, TransPennine Trains Limited and XC Trains Limited with the aim to procure driver training simulators to deliver ETCS (European Train Control System) driver training within the abovementioned train operating companies. As part of this project we are looking to purchase 56 portable Driver Training simulators, which is broken down into a requirement for each train operating company: 32 for NTL, 16 for TPT & 8 for XC. There is also a requirement to for the ongoing maintenance of the simulators. NTL, TPT & XC are looking to establish a framework agreement as part of this procurement, under which each company will be able to call-off their specific requirement, however, the specific procurement route has not been established yet and may be subject to change.

London Underground - Track Access Planning

London Underground (LU) Track Access Planning tool used across LU to plan all engineering works. TfL must become more efficient at planning engineering works across the transport network.
